Beverly Hills jewelry designer Martin Katz (www.martinkatz.com) and bridal dressmaker Renee Strauss (www.reneestrauss.com), also from Beverly Hills, partnered to create the MOST expensive wedding dress ever made, featuring 150 carats worth of diamonds interwoven throughout the dress!!! Can you say holy CARATS!!!!!
The accompanying veil features rhinestones and not diamonds which is the part that doesn't make sense....I mean, if you're going to invest $12 million on a wedding dress, why not drop another $2 million on the veil? I mean, why stop at that....how about a $4 million dollar diamond-studded pair of shoes and a matching purse?
The dress is still in the hands of Katz and Strauss and has not been sold yet....good news for those with a cool $12 million to spare. Great news is......the diamonds will always retain their value ergo so will the bridal gown!
